A message from PUBG's mobile support team confirms: "To provide everyone with a better gaming experience, PUBG MOBILE will pay for updates starting July 7.
"The server will not go offline for this update. This update requires approximately 1.84 GB of storage space on Android devices and 2.13 GB of storage space on iOS devices.
"Players in different versions cannot invite each other, so please update as soon as possible."
